Snowboard Packages

Snowboard packages are being offered by a variety of resorts in an effort to attract snowboarders to their resorts. Some of the features being offered as part of these snowboard packages include:

• Reduced hotel stays – Many of the snowboard packages will offer snowboarders a reduced rate to stay in a nearby hotel. Many times the hotels and the ski resorts work together to promote one another in order to attract snowboarders to the area.

• Free food – Some of the snowboard packages will also offer free or reduced rates on food. Because a person taking a trip out of town often will not have a lot of food to eat, he or she often appreciates the offer of free food. Sometimes this food is offered at the resort itself, but many times local restaurants will work with the resorts to promote their eateries.

• Travel accommodations – A person who lives in Florida, but loves to snowboard in Colorado is often hampered by the fact that good snowboarding is so far away. Many snowboard packages will feature discounts on travel accommodations as one of their main selling points. These travel accommodations could include discounts on flights into airports or they could include free bus rides to and from a hotel to a resort.

Snowboard packages have started to get more and more popular. In the last 10-15 years, snowboarding has gone from a fringe sport to a mainstream sport and thus has become much more marketable
